The NGO « The Source of Senegal » is a humanitarian organization established January 8, 1991, Approval No. 251 of the Ministry of the Interior. The NGO « The Source of Senegal » has always worked for a daily battle to fight against poverty in Senegal. It is involved in agriculture, poultry, cattle employment, education, health and training.
The NGO « The Source of Senegal » was to receive letters of congratulations from many development partners such as the Belgian Cooperation, UNDP, … to show that the results it has achieved are satisfactory, constituting a source of pride and encourage donors to assist so that it can complete what it has already begun in this locality. The NGO « The Source of Senegal » has created a health center and vocational training in Keur Massar and a health center in Casamance. Schools were subsequently established to Diemoul. She has received funding of $ 5 million FCFA to finance women’s groups to the tune of FCFA 500,000. It has received financial support from the Belgian Cooperation.

Additionally, we strive to create employment opportunities that can uplift the local economy and improve living standards. Through various income generating activities, we are working towards fostering sustainable development and long-term self-sufficiency in Senegal.
